DEBATE CLUB #12: Franchise Movies : Are they killing cinema?
"Marvel and Disney are killing independent movie making?" We must stop them!!!!! Enough is enough! Spiderman, Jedi knights, Guardians of our Galaxy, Fast and Furious cars, and giant dinosaurs have been dominating movie screens for 20 years. More and more screens are dedicated to Disney and Marvel franchise movies. The biggest screens at your local movie theater rarely have any European films on them. Why? What can we do to change this?
